The first part of Sakamoto Days season 1 ended on March 22, 2025 to some amazing success. It would seem that the anime adaptation of the hit Shonen Jump action comedy manga of the same name by Yuto Suzuki is one of Netflix’s biggest anime hits. It’s not even hard to see why in spite of the first part having only 11 episodes. Those 11 episodes had so much in the way of bizarre, outlandish action that you couldn’t help but drop your jaw open in shock and amazement.

Really, it’s no wonder that so many people are looking forward to the upcoming second part so much. Fortunately, Netflix is here to deliver. They have just announced the upcoming debut of Sakamoto Days Season 1 Part 2 with a brand new official trailer. That trailer also reveals that this second part will make its Netflix debut on July 14, 2025. Are you curious now? You can watch that trailer either on YouTube or below:

If you were a fan of Sakamoto Days Season 1 Part 1 or even a fan of the manga that started the anime, then this is news to keep an eye on. You’re definitely going to be in for a real treat in this story arc. Not least of which is because this is when the story starts getting extra serious. Mostly because this is the arc when the story starts introducing assassins who are near Sakamoto’s level of skill and power, at his level, or even exceeds them. The who will be the big surprise that you will find out when you watch that Part 2.
